Peaches: Whose Jizz Is This?

Peaches has been a queer feminist pop-icon for two decades. To mark her 20-year stage anniversary, the Kampnagel Sommerfest music and art festival and the Hamburg Kunstverein will combine forces to celebrate her career.

The Kunstverein will show Peaches’ first solo art exhibition – Whose Jizz Is This?  – from 9 August to 20 October. It will explore the multifaceted nature of the artist’s work, including as a musical producer and live performer, to present sculptural, photographic, cinematic and textual works. With Whose Jizz Is This?, Peaches explores the format of the classic ‘exhibition’, creating an interactive experience that is parts live performance, visual art, rock show and historical overview – all the while situating her work within the international discourse on queer feminism, gender and performance.

The opening night of the exhibition will feature a special performance installation by Federica Dauri.

Where: Kunstverein Hamburg, Klosterwall 23, 20095 Hamburg
When: 9 Aug - 20 Oct, with special opening night event at 7 p.m. on 9 August

Additionally, Peaches will host There's Only One Peach with the Hole in the Middle, a series of four club nights throughout August at Kampnagel's Sommerfest
