Duckstein Festival - Live Music and Beer Culture in Speicherstadt and HafenCity

Once known for its place of origin as the ‘Fleetinsel Festival’, the event now called the Duckstein Festival HafenCity Hamburg has been a mainstay of summer for over 20 years. The Duckstein Festival moved to Hafencity and got its new name in 2014, but this classic Hamburg event is still full of the same spirit as when it began, just a bit bigger.

For nine glorious summer days visitors can expect oodles of entertainment. Not just bands, but comedians, dancers, acrobats, and even a yo-yo expert will take to the stage, while plenty of food and drink stalls will dazzle taste buds and local craftspeople and artisans sell their wares. The festival’s most stunning feature is probably its unique location. The Speicherstadt area is a must-see in Hamburg as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
