Hamburg Beer Week

Beer Week - Celebreat Hanseatic Brewing Culture

A tribute to the art of beer in Hamburg

Creative beer culture is very important in Hamburg and is an integral part of the Hanseatic city. Every year Hamburg Beer Week celebrates this culture in lavish style. Over six days, visitors can take part in many events relating to beer, enjoy tastings, and experience a colourful live programme with music and workshops.

The decentralised festival takes place at over 30 Hamburg locations and breweries. The Astra St. Pauli Brewery, Beyond Beer, the Gröninger Privatbrauerei, the Vierländer Brewery and many more are among the participants.

This year, the #HHBW Collaboration Suds will once again feature a festival beer created jointly by 19 breweries. Beer lovers can look forward to ordering an H3: Hazy Hoppy Helles. In 2023, Hamburg Beer Week will take place for the first time as part of the Open Mouth Food Festival.

#HHBW Celebration

The Hamburg Beer Week’s beloved ‘Celebration’ event will again take place in 2023 as part of Hamburg Beer Week: on 16 and 17 September, all participating breweries will come together in the Oberhafenquartier to celebrate the art of brewing in Hamburg.
