Hamburg's Christmas Markets will bring warmth and light to the winter again in 2021. On 16 November, 2021, the Hamburg Senate made the '2G rule' binding for areas with an increased risk of coronavirus infection, meaning that patrons must be able to show proof of vaccination against or recovery from COVID-19. This applies to any areas at Christmas markets where food or drinks are sold.
