Pretty Blankenese with its steep streets, quaint fishermen’s houses and lush villas towering high above the river Elbe is often lauded for its Mediterranean vibe. In winter, Blankenese is just as enchanting as in summer. Opposite S-Bahn station Blankenese, a cosy Christmas market invites visitors to traditional eggnog, mulled wine and a wide variety of snacks. Besides classics like crepes and sausages, you'll be able to enjoy Tuscan specialties, juicy burgers and roasted almonds and apples.
