The beach spot is close to the famous Wadden Sea, a UNESCO world heritage site, which invites guests to wander along the mud flats. Weekly markets and a children’s centre give the town a cosy feel, and the many cafes and restaurants offer guests every opportunity to relax. Annual events include the kite festival, which is a colourful spectacle, the traditional buoy burning and an incredible firework display on New Year’s Eve.
