As the leaders of the world’s major economies gather for the G20 Summit in Hamburg, world-famous artists take the stage at the Barclaycard Arena to take a stand against global injustice and poverty. The free Global Citizen Festival on Thursday 6 July presents headliners Ellie Goulding, Pharrell Williams, Herbert Grönemeyer, Andreas Bourani, Coldplay and Shakira and many more artists. International stars like singer Demi Levato, actor Elyas M'Barek and dancer Nikeata Thompson will take on co-hosting duties for the evening. Global Citizen calls upon world leaders to address the global refugee crisis and to take political action to improve education, health, nutrition, women’s rights and other pressing issues.
