Documents required

According to the PVO, the application must contain the following documents, among others:

  • Application form
  • CV
  • Testimonies
  • criminal record
  • Proof of place of business and any branches
  • Evidence of special requirements (see PVO §10 point 2.)

Procedure

The procedure is listed on our website in the "Information sheet on the recognition of test engineers". After a successful recognition process, a two-year candidate period follows. During this time, the engineers to be examined are supervised by the test center for structural engineering. With the successful completion of the candidate period, recognition as a test engineer takes place.

Processing time



The recognition process takes about 3 months.


This is followed by a two-year monitoring phase, which is obligatory until final recognition.
