Companies that want to process animal by-products must be approved for this activity by the competent authority.

Service description
According to Article 24 paragraph 1 letters a), d), e), f) or g) of Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009, the processing of animal by-products is subject to authorisation. Approval must be applied for from the competent authority before the start of the activity.
