Procedure
The medical and dental authorities inform the radiation protection officers in writing of the results of the review; errors and deficiencies are listed and their assessment is carried out by means of a classification based on the uniform assessment system.
In the result report, comprehensible and goal-oriented ways of optimization are to be shown, which in particular work towards
- the use of ionizing radiation and radioactive substances corresponds to the state of the art in medicine or dentistry and the requirements of medical science,
- the specifications of the StrlSchV for quality assurance and optimization of the application are observed, the physical-technical tests are carried out properly,
- the devices and work equipment used within the scope of the radiation application correspond to the state of the art or the state of science and technology
- and immediate remedial action is taken in the event of unjustified exceedances of the diagnostic reference values.

Service description
A notification to the authority for justice and consumer protection, office for occupational safety is required:
· in case of repeated use with incomprehensible or missing justifying indication;
· Determination of persistent, unjustified exceeding of the diagnostic reference values,
- in case of non-observance of optimization suggestions,
- in the event of deviations from the requirements of medical science and
- in the absence of cooperation by the radiation protection officer, in particular if the radiation protection officer does not comply with his duty to submit
