De-registration of the operation of X-ray equipment or termination of handling radioactive substances
You must inform the responsible authority immediately if you want to stop an approved X-ray facility, the operation of interference emitters or systems for generating ionizing radiation or the approved handling of radioactive substances.

Prerequisites
You can only make the notification if you are responsible for radiation protection.
Documents required
With your report, you should also provide evidence of the whereabouts of the X-ray device, stray emitters or system for generating ionizing radiation, such as:
- Proof of disposal or
- Proof from a specialist company that the X-ray device, interference emitter or system for generating ionizing radiation is not ready for operation.

Procedure
- Notify in writing of the termination of operation of the X-ray facility or the approved handling of radioactive materials. Please indicate the whereabouts of the X-ray equipment or the radioactive material.
- If necessary, send evidence of the whereabouts of the X-ray device, interference emitter or system for generating ionizing radiation or radioactive material.
- The authority will check your information and, if necessary, request further information or documents from you.
- The responsible authority registers the deregistration of your facilities or devices.
- You will not receive any notification from the authorities.
