Apply for grants for preventive measures for cattle

Prerequisites

Aid is only granted upon application. The form provided by the BJV must be used when submitting the application. The application must be submitted before the start of the measure.
An additional prerequisite is the proper reporting of the number of animals to the animal disease fund and the timely and complete payment of the due contributions.

Procedure

The application must be submitted before the start of the measure using the form provided by the BJV. There is a form for the granting of aid for measures to prevent and combat animal diseases that require notification and notification, as well as for animal identification measures and the associated advisory services. A second application form for the removal and disposal of fallen stock. Aid that was wrongly granted will be demanded back.

The authority for justice and consumer protection can pay subsidies for measures for the early detection, prevention, control, monitoring and eradication of animal diseases and infectious animal diseases or zoonoses. The subsidies are paid as voluntary services for the sampling and testing of samples for BHV1, BVDV, leukemia and brucellosis in cattle and for official animal identification and related advisory services.

There are also grants for the removal and disposal of fallen stock. Prerequisites for payment are the proper animal number reports and late reports as well as the timely payment of the contributions to the TSK Hamburg. The measures for which subsidies are granted as well as the further requirements for the payment of the subsidies and the amount of the subsidies are regulated in the applicable subsidy directive.
