The advanced technical college entrance qualification consists of the school-based and the practical part. The school-based part is acquired by moving to the last year of upper secondary school, or by successfully attending a technical college or a commercial college. If all requirements are met, the SIZ issues the certificate of advanced technical college entrance qualification. It is recommended to make an appointment for an interview; if possible, the certificate will be issued immediately.
Important notes
Documents required
The original certificates or officially certified copies of the certificate for the school part of the advanced technical college entrance qualification (e.g. certificate of completion of the higher commercial school, certificate of 12th school year of a grammar school / a district school) and suitable evidence of a specialist practical activity (e.g. certificate of the Chamber or journeyman's certificate after completing training or internship certificate or job reference).
