The staff council is the legally stipulated representation of the employees of the authority for economy, transport and innovation vis-à-vis the employer. The basis of the work is the Hamburg Personnel Representation Act (HmbPersVG).
The staff council is responsible for all matters that concern members of the public service in the agency. In particular, he has a say in the cases defined by law (§ 86, 87 HmbPersVG).
