The authority for work, social affairs, family and integration supports the work of the integration advisory board. The tasks of the authority include the control and coordination of the further implementation as well as the updating of the action plan for the integration of immigrants. The authority coordinates the coordination with the national integration plan as well as the nationwide integration program according to Section 45 of the Residence Act. It controls and coordinates the departmental and inter-agency tasks related to the integration of immigrants (language promotion, intercultural dialogue, migration advice, project promotion) as well as return promotion and re-integration, and it controls and promotes the integration centers.
