External examinations give people who are not students of a state or state-recognized school the opportunity to obtain a certificate from a vocational school / technical school / technical college. The written applications for admission are issued and accepted by the school information center. For applicants who do not have their first place of residence in Hamburg, special regulations apply. Documents required
Registration form (available from the SIZ), passport photo (not older than three months), curriculum vitae with a detailed description of the educational path, photocopy of the birth certificate or passport copy, if applicable, name change certificates, photocopy of the diploma or leaving certificate of the last general school attended, information on Art and the scope of the exam preparation and the course material worked through (for more, see link)
