Apply for a waste transport permit

Prerequisites

They have the necessary reliability to handle hazardous waste.

You can prove your expertise in the field of waste disposal, for example through relevant course certificates and evidence of previous practical experience.

Documents required

For the permit procedure you need the following documents:

• Completed application form,
• Copy of the current business registration,
• Current commercial register extract (if registered in the commercial register),
• Information from the Central Trade Register for submission directly to an authority,
• Certificate(s), document type OG, for submission directly to an authority with indication of the intended use "Waste transport permit according to Section 54 KrWG",
• Evidence of professional qualifications, for example: relevant course certificates and evidence of previous practical experience.

Please note

Once you have received your permit, you are required to comply with all relevant regulations.

If there are any changes to your company or your activities, you must notify the authorities immediately.

Deadlines

You need permission before you can transport hazardous waste.

Procedure

You submit the application together with the required documents to the responsible authority.

The responsible authority will check your application and your documents. If something is missing, you will be informed and will have time to submit the missing documents.

The responsible authority checks the requirements (for example based on information from the central trade register and the certificate of good conduct) and your professional qualifications.

If the responsible authority has any questions or requires further documents, it will contact you.

You will receive permission. This may be subject to conditions that you must comply with.

Processing time

The processing time depends on the documents submitted in each individual case.

Fees

Fees apply. Depending on the effort involved, the amount of the fee is between EUR 50.00 and EUR 1,000.00.
