Coronavirus, vaccination protection in Hamburg

The call for vaccinations and the invitation to make an appointment are staggered in time.

The following groups of people and professionals are currently called upon to make an appointment for vaccination online or by phone at 116 117:

• People over the age of 80
• Employees in outpatient care services
• Resident doctors and dentists as well as their practice staff
• Employees in the ambulance sector
• Rescue workers
• Employees in the public health service ÖGD
• Midwives
• Speech therapists

In addition, the following groups of people and professions are eligible for vaccination. You will receive a vaccination appointment or a vaccination through the respective employer or employer or a mobile vaccination team in the facility (an appointment online or by telephone is not necessary / possible - please contact the respective facility if you have any questions):

• Residents and employees in nursing homes
• Employees in hospitals
• Police and law enforcement officers with a particularly high risk of infection due to their work
• Service housing facilities with residents over 80 years of age
• Residents and employees in facilities for people with disabilities

Further areas of activity and professional groups are gradually being called for vaccination.

All persons who are in §2 and §3 of the Federal Vaccination Ordinance (see link "Coronavirus Vaccination Ordinance (March 31, 2021)") are now entitled to vaccinate in Hamburg. Without exception, i.e. all persons with the previous illnesses mentioned there and also contact persons of pregnant women.
