Apply for a placement budget at the job center

Prerequisites

• You are at risk of unemployment or unemployed and want to take up employment that is subject to compulsory insurance.
• You are looking for an in-company or school-based apprenticeship.
• Funding from the placement budget must be applied for before the costs are incurred.

Documents required

Depending on the type of support you have applied for, you will need to provide supporting documents. Your integration specialist will tell you which documents must be attached to the application.

Deadlines

There is no deadline. An application for funding and reimbursement of costs from the placement budget must be submitted before costs are incurred. You or a person authorized by you can submit the objection in writing or for the record to the job center. The objection must be received by the authority no later than one month after receipt of the decision.

Procedure

You can apply for funding from the placement budget at the job center responsible for you.

• Arrange a consultation appointment with your integration specialist at the job center.
• We will then discuss with you whether funding from the placement budget is possible and what support services can be offered.
• You will receive the relevant application documents from your integration specialist.
• Fill out the documents, enclose the necessary evidence or receipts and send the documents back to the job center.
• Note that you must apply for a grant and reimbursement from the referral budget before you incur any costs.

Processing time

The processing of your application usually takes between a few days and 12 weeks, provided that all the necessary documents are complete.
