Service description

Funding from the placement budget is intended to support you in looking for and starting a new job or in-company or school-based training. The job center can support you financially, for example by paying for your

  • applications,
  • driving or traveling to job interviews,
  • required documents (e.g. certified copies, translations) or
  • Moving expenses (if you need to move for new work)
be taken over.
Your integration specialist will check and decide which costs can be covered at your request / application before the expected costs arise.
You can receive funding if you receive basic security benefits under SGB II and are aiming for either one of the options mentioned above or starting school education.
You can also receive funding if you are aiming for or starting employment subject to compulsory insurance in a member state of the European Union (EU), a state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or in Switzerland. The prerequisite is that you work at least 15 hours a week.
You cannot receive funding from the referral budget if
  • the employer provides similar services,
  • other public bodies are legally obliged to pay for similar services or
  • You cannot send applications yourself.
