Prerequisites

• You have completed your studies in Germany or have acquired an equivalent qualification abroad.
• You have successfully completed the examination to become a psychotherapist.
• You are physically and personally suitable.
• You have sufficient knowledge of the German language.

Legal remedies

An objection to a negative decision can be raised within one month after notification to the office specified in the letterhead.

If you want to work as a psychotherapist, you need a license to practice medicine. Approval is granted upon application.
