Submit a measurement report on the continuous measurements of emissions from a cremation facility
If you operate a cremation facility, you are required to measure the facility's air pollutant emissions. You must submit the measurement results to the responsible immission control authority.

- You carry out the continuous measurements according to the regulations

- The measurement report contains the hourly, averaged values of the measurements.

Please note
In terms of content, the continuous measurements are to be based on the Federal Environment Ministry's circular "Uniform federal practice for monitoring emissions" and the requirements for evaluation systems contained therein.
The content of the reports on the functional tests and calibrations of the measuring devices for the continuous measurements must correspond to the requirements of the VDI 3950 Part 2 guideline.
If you do not comply with the obligation to report, or do not do so correctly or in good time, you are acting improperly. Administrative offense proceedings will be initiated against you.
It is purely a notification by you. No decision is issued by the authority.
Deadlines
You submit the measurement report on the continuous measurements of the emissions from cremation systems to the responsible immission control authority within three months after the end of each calendar year.

Procedure
They carry out the continuous measurements continuously and create a measurement report for a calendar year with the averaged hourly measured values.
You submit the measurement report together with the reports on the functional test and the calibration of the measuring devices by March 31 at the latest. of the year following the measurement to the competent immission control authority.
The authorities will check your information. If necessary, the competent authority will ask you for further information.
Since this is a notification, no decision will be issued by the authority.

Service description
If you operate a cremation facility, you are required to measure and report emissions from the facility.
You must have equipment installed in your cremation facility to continuously measure carbon monoxide, oxygen, smoke density, and temperature. The installation of the measuring devices must have been checked by a recognized expert. The measuring devices must be checked and calibrated at regular intervals.
From the hourly readings, form the mean values for each consecutive hour. You create a measurement report with the mean values.
Submit the measurement report by March 31st at the latest. of the year following the measurement to the competent immission control authority.
