Procedure
Show up at the Hamburg Service or one of the recognized private issuing offices with your valid fishing license. If you do not live in Hamburg, you can only pay the fishing tax at one of the private issuing points. You can pay the tax there immediately.

Fees
The fishing tax for anglers is EUR 10.00 per calendar year.
The fishing tax for full-time fishermen is EUR 500.00 per calendar year.
The fishing tax for part-time fishermen is EUR 300.00 per calendar year.
The fishing tax for subsistence fishermen is EUR 50.00 per calendar year.
The fishing tax for fishing guides is EUR 1,000 per calendar year.

If you want to fish in Hamburg, you must pay the Hamburg fishing tax in advance. This also applies to fishing without a license. If you live in another federal state and want to fish in Hamburg, you also have to pay the fishing tax, even if you have already done so at your place of residence.
