Hunting is regulated by the Federal Hunting and State Hunting Act and supplementary regulations. The highest hunting authority is the authority for the environment, climate, energy and agriculture.
The highest hunting authority prepares state legal regulations as well as related ordinances, which the Senate and the citizenship decide. It is advised and supported in its tasks by a state hunting advisory board. These tasks also include
- Demarcation of hunting grounds,
- the supervision and approval of the maintenance plans,
- Subsidies from the hunting tax
- the pacification of areas.
