Dental care is aimed at all insured persons and serves to identify and treat any tooth, mouth and jaw diseases at an early stage.
For children:
- up to the age of 6: six times, three of them in infancy (6th to the end of the 9th month, 10th to the end of the 20th month, 21st to the end of the 33rd month)
- between 6 and 18 years: once every six months
For adults:
- From the age of 18 once a year (some health insurance companies offer different services)
Dental prophylactic measures in adults include:
- the guide to effective oral hygiene,
- Instructions for reducing risk factors and
- the removal of hard deposits and tooth decay or irritants that can cause gingivitis.
