In order to protect you or your child from infectious diseases, the statutory health insurance companies offer vaccinations as part of their benefits. When covering the vaccination costs, the health insurance companies follow the recommendations of the standing vaccination commission (STIKO).
You can have the vaccinations carried out by your general practitioner or paediatricians.
You may have to bear the costs for travel vaccinations yourself.
