Operators of a heating oil consumer system must report the construction and operation. This notification obligation applies to heating oil consumer systems in private households if they are located within water protection or flood areas.

An administration fee according to the Environmental Fees Ordinance, Annex 1, No. 3.41.6 UmwGebO is to be paid for the examination of a notification according to § 40 AwSV.

Service description
For the notification of plants handling water-polluting substances, please note the online procedure for "Notification according to § 40 AwSV" (Regulation on plants handling water-polluting substances).
Heating oil consumer systems are also among the systems for handling water-polluting substances. These are systems for storing, filling and, in the commercial sector and public institutions, systems for using heating oil. Among other things, information about the containers, the safety devices and the pipes is required.
