Service description
Social monitoring uses socio-spatial data for all statistical areas and helps Hamburg's specialist authorities and district offices to identify neighborhoods with social challenges at an early stage.
Goals of the Framework Program for Integrated District Development (RISE):
- The quality of life in districts with a special need for development is to be improved and the districts are to be upgraded in terms of urban development. Attractive neighborhoods for living, living and working, learning and shopping are to be created, thus achieving social balance, cohesion and the opportunity for everyone to participate.
- The framework program not only pursues urban development goals, but is also intended to improve the educational prospects of children through investments in the educational infrastructure, families through social infrastructure offers, enlivening neighborhood and cultural life in the districts through neighborhood centers, improving the quality of public spaces and green spaces .
- The local economy in the supply centers of the quarters is to be strengthened.
- At the same time, opportunities for citizens to participate are to be strengthened.
