Report the use of renewable energies when replacing the heating system
With an online service, you can comply with the obligation to report the use of renewable energies within the meaning of the Hamburg Climate Protection Act and submit the necessary information and documents.

Please note
The report according to § 17 HmbKliSchG can be submitted:
- owner,
- commissioned management companies
- commissioned experts.
Deadlines
Evidence of compliance with the obligation must be provided to the competent authority within 18 months of the commissioning of the new or replaced heating system.

Service description
If a heating system is replaced or retrofitted after June 30th, 2021, the owners of buildings are obliged to cover at least 15% of their annual heating energy requirements with renewable energies. This obligation applies to all buildings erected before January 1st, 2009.
Compliance with this obligation must be demonstrated to the competent authority. We recommend that you use the online service to submit your report. You can also provide evidence in writing; in this case, however, the calculation aids contained in the online service will no longer apply.
