Clearance certificate for the powder course

Prerequisites

In order to receive a clearance certificate, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be personally suitable. You are personally suitable if you do not have any restrictions, for example in your mental or physical health or are dependent on drugs or alcohol.
• You must have reached the age of 21 (exceptions possible)

Deadlines

The application must be submitted in good time, no later than 3 months before the intended participation in a course. The clearance certificate is valid for one year.

Procedure

• You fill out the relevant application form in full or submit the application online and send it to the Office for Occupational Safety and Health, including the documents listed in the application.
• If the documents or information required for processing are incomplete, you will be contacted by the administrative department
• The decision will be sent to you by e-mail or by post.
• The notice of fees will usually be sent to you later.

Objection to the refusal of the clearance certificate

• Section 34 1st Ordinance on Explosives (1st SprengV)


• § 27 Explosives Act (SprengG)

• If you would like to handle explosive substances (e.g. black powder, nitrocellulose powder) and/or purchase them, you need a permit according to Section 27 of the Explosives Act (SprengG). In order to obtain such a permit, you must first attend a course in which the specialist knowledge of the non-commercial handling and transport of explosive substances is conveyed. In order to take part in this course, you need the clearance certificate according to § 34 of the 1st Explosives Ordinance (1. SprengV).
• The clearance certificate is issued if the explosives legal reliability and personal suitability for participation in courses according to the SprengG are available.
