Important notes

Prerequisites

You may continue or resume the activity if there is no danger to the health of the population. For this above all need

Please note

Anyone who has already received a permit to work with pathogens and has reported that they are starting work for the first time is obliged to notify the competent authority immediately if

  • significant changes are made in the type and scope of the activity, the nature of the rooms and facilities or the disposal measures,
  • ends the activity with pathogens or
  • the activity with pathogens is resumed.
Changes to the activity must be reported even if there is no obligation to obtain a permit. The termination or resumption of activity must also be reported.

If a risk to the health of the population is to be feared, the continuation or resumption of activity with pathogens is prohibited by the competent authority. This is particularly the case if there are no suitable rooms or facilities for the activities or if the prerequisites for safe disposal are not met.
