Detailed description
Care centers are advice centers that are jointly supported by the statutory health and nursing insurance funds and the city of Hamburg.
The care centers work closely with the district senior citizens’ advisory services.
They provide competent and independent advice and support to adults in need of care and their relatives on all questions relating to care. The advisors working there can help with questions such as financing, questions about care in one's own home, filling out applications or finding a suitable place in a care home.
You can also get information here about questions that arise before receiving care, such as what kind of help is available if you are no longer able to fully look after your household yourself.
In addition to such general information, you can also receive individual and comprehensive care advice at the care center if you wish. The advisors will then support you in coordinating individual steps and also over a longer period of time.
