The “International Cultural Exchange” department of the Ministry of Culture and Media supports artistic exchange projects between Hamburg and abroad, in the implementation of which there is considerable cultural policy interest.
The authority wants to enable Hamburg's cultural and creative scene to present itself and network internationally. In particular, projects by Hamburg's cultural workers abroad and projects by international cultural workers in Hamburg are supported.
The authority supports projects in the field of international cultural exchange within the framework of available resources.
Applicants can submit their applications throughout the year - up to two months before the start of the project.
