As child protection coordinators
We are the contact persons for questions regarding child protection. We provide information about the tasks and responsibilities of youth welfare and provide you with information about support and advice offers.
We advise and support specialists as well as citizens in the case of suspected child endangerment that may initially be unclear. Together, you can discuss with us either over the phone or in a personal consultation what exactly is causing your concern, what indications you perceive that the child's well-being is at risk, what assistance measures have already been tried so far, how the Department of Youth and Family Welfare can help, and what next steps should be taken to ensure the child's well-being. The advice can be provided anonymously if desired.
We are also available to independent providers as specialists in accordance with Section 8a SGB VIII.
We initiate specialist events and training courses on specific child protection issues and can also be requested as speakers.
