The department is responsible for safeguarding real estate and property policy interests of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg during and after the independence / privatization of municipal companies, businesses and administrative units. In this context, agreements are concluded with municipal companies. These deal with the future exploitation and marketing of the assigned properties and the exercise of FHH's property-related rights to these properties. In addition, regulations for the transfer of ownership of land and the conclusion of land contracts with municipal companies including the necessary notarial applications are being drawn up. In addition, the development of regulations with regard to the cooperation with municipal companies (drafting of sample contract texts, e.g. exercise of repurchase rights of the FHH vis-à-vis the independent companies) as well as the development of the regulations for the letting / leasing of FHH-owned space to municipal companies takes place.
