Prerequisites

The prerequisites for this are very different. It is advisable to clarify any necessary vaccinations and examinations with the veterinary department as early as possible. If all requirements are not met, a health certificate cannot be issued. For compliance with the health requirements to be certified in the country of origin, very different deadlines and quarantine conditions may be required depending on the species and country of origin.

Vaccinations and further examinations

Documents required

Pet passport, vaccination certificate
Completely filled out pet passport or vaccination certificate
Examination certificate
If necessary, current veterinary examination and treatment certificates must be presented.
Certificate forms
Since the veterinary departments often do not have forms for the country of travel, templates should be obtained in advance from the embassies / consulates of the country of travel or with the help of the Internet and submitted for certification.

Deadlines

The competent authority must be notified of the arrival of an animal consignment at least one working day prior to arrival.
