Graduation certificate, originals or certified copies as well as their translation, subject list, proof of practical phases, confirmation of registration for Hamburg, proof of German language skills.

Please note

Social workers and social pedagogues as well as childhood pedagogues who have obtained their degree outside the Federal Republic of Germany can apply for state recognition in accordance with the 'Hamburg Law on the Recognition of Foreign Professional Qualifications (HmbABQG)'.

Fees

The fees for a determination procedure are EUR 270.00. The fees for an adaptation course depend on the duration and scope of the fee schedule of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
