The offerings of open child and youth work include extracurricular education, including social, political, cultural and intercultural education.
The offers are aimed at young people, usually from primary school age to 18 years. The facilities are open several days a week from early afternoon until evening.
In addition, offers, excursions and group trips take place on weekends and during school holidays.
In addition to the various interest groups for exercise, games, painting/crafts, music, cooking, dancing, billiards, computers, help with homework and much more, there is the open area with counters and seating as a meeting place.
The children and young people are encouraged to bring in their own wishes and ideas and to implement them with the support of the educational professionals.
The specialists are also available to young people for individual discussions and advice upon request. Data protection and confidentiality are safeguarded by the specialists. The main basic principles of open child and youth work are low threshold, voluntariness and participation.
