The two business areas of the institution under public law are integration assistance for people with mental illnesses and mental illnesses and living in accommodation for asylum seekers, resettlers and refugees as well as people in social emergencies. The authority responsible for social affairs (supervisory authority) monitors compliance with this law and the statutes (legal and organizational supervision).
