Detailed description

To demonstrate your safety knowledge as a person responsible for event technology, you can apply for a certificate of competency. In some cases, you must apply for a certificate of competency.



If you are a certified master craftsman in event technology and would like to work as a person responsible for event technology, you do not necessarily need a certificate of competency. Your training qualifies you to work as a person responsible for event technology. If you still want a certificate of competency, you can apply for one.


If you

  • have completed a university degree in theatre and event technology or
  • work as a technical stage and studio specialist without a master's degree

If you want to work as a person responsible for event technology, you will need a certificate of competency to prove your qualifications. You must apply for this certificate from the relevant authority.

  • You are a certified master of event technology.
  • You have completed a university degree in theatre and event technology and have at least 1 year of professional experience in the technical operation of stage studios or multi-purpose halls.
  • You are a technical stage and studio specialist with at least 3 years of professional experience.
