Please note

Construction sites of a certain size must be announced to the authority for urban development and housing, office for building regulations and structural engineering (ABH 33) at least two weeks before they are set up.

Advance notice is required whenever:

• the expected duration of the work is more than 30 working days and more than 20 employees are working on the construction site at the same time, or
• the scope of the work is expected to exceed 500 man-days (number of workers times number of working days).

You can use this online service to view the construction site advance notice data

• pre-record and then checked by the builder or those responsible within the meaning of Section 4 of the Construction Site Ordinance (BaustellV) and then sent electronically to the Authority for Urban Development and Housing (BSW).
  or
• record it directly and send it electronically to the authority for urban development and housing (BSW) on behalf of the client or those responsible within the meaning of Section 4 of the Construction Site Ordinance (BaustellV).
