Stay for the purpose of looking for a job after successfully completing your studies

Prerequisites

• study graduation
• A degree (Bachelor, Master, Diplom, Magister, etc.) obtained in Germany
• Have a residence permit to study

The residence permit to look for a job can only be issued if it follows on from a residence permit to study.

Documents required

• Valid passport
• 1 current biometric passport photo 35mm x 45mm, front view, light background
• Job offer - only if an offer is already available.
• Job description form - in addition to the job offer.
• Health insurance (insurance card) or a private health insurance that corresponds at least to the statutory scope of benefits.
• Degree - degree certificate, certificate or confirmation from your university of a successful degree
• Proof of livelihood: Certificate of earnings, salary slips, bank statement or similar
• Rental agreement + bank statement stating the current rental amount
• Evidence of the establishment of a company: Evidence of corresponding efforts can be provided, among other things, by negotiating with banks to finance a business idea, finding suitable business premises, etc.
