If the situation in life that triggers your need is not regulated in social law, help can be granted in other situations.

Detailed description

Help in other life situations can be granted to you for the following:

  • Lunch in the workshop for disabled people
  • Travel costs for exercising visitation rights
  • Body-related care and support measures for persons below care level 2 and who have not yet reached the normal retirement age.

Decisions may be made on a case-by-case basis if the life situation giving rise to the need is not regulated in Section 8 of the Social Code Book XII or in other areas of social law.

Prerequisites

  • Exclusion of Priority Services
  • Proven need

Documents required

  • identity card
  • Proof of income and assets as well as charges (e.g. rent, water, etc.)
  • if applicable, notice of hiring or benefits jobcenter
  • Proof of amounts for existing insurance
  • Housing and Caregiver Agreement

Please note

In the case of body-related care and support measures, a statement from the health department or the advice center for people with physical disabilities is required.

Procedure

After you have submitted your application, the basic security and social welfare office will check and decide on the eligibility requirements.

Processing time

A decision will be made on the application as soon as possible. The processing time depends, among other things, on the completeness of the information and the submission of the evidence required for processing the application.
