Detailed description

The Animal Welfare Act is enforced in the seven district offices, the specialist office for consumer protection, trade and the environment, and the veterinary and food safety department.
This includes, in particular, the issuing of permits in accordance with Section 11 of the Animal Welfare Act, transport permits in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1/2005 and the recognition of expertise. Applications are to be sent directly to the responsible district office.
Animal husbandry is also monitored here within the meaning of the Animal Welfare Act. In the event of complaints or reports about inappropriate or inappropriate animal husbandry, please contact the district office responsible for the location of the animal husbandry, which you can find via the link below
