If your company wants to transport animal by-products and derived products to another EU Member State, you need authorisation.

 

Information

Prerequisites

All persons and companies involved in the planned transport must be registered or approved under Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009 and have a registration or approval number.

Please note

There are no hints or special features.

Deadlines

Submit the application at least 4 weeks before the planned transport. You may only transport the animal by-products and derived products within the EU once you have received approval.

Procedure

  • You submit the application for authorisation to transport animal by-products commercially to the competent authority.
  • The responsible authority will check your documents. If necessary, they will request further information or documents from you.
  • The responsible authority will examine your application.
  • You will receive a notification.

Processing usually takes 4 weeks.
