Detailed description
The Youth Protection Act sets the legal framework to protect your child. For example, young people under the age of 16 are not allowed to stay in clubs; those between the ages of 16 and 18 are allowed to stay until midnight. If you as a parent accompany your child there, the time and age limits of the Youth Protection Act do not apply. This is also the case if you instead appoint a third person as a temporary guardian as part of an agreement. It is your responsibility as a parent to consider what you think your child is capable of, how you assess the situation and the people involved, but also whether you trust the chosen companion.
Anyone over the age of 18 can be appointed as a guardian. The transfer is made by concluding a temporary, legally binding agreement between the two parties. This agreement does not necessarily have to be in writing. However, this makes it easier for organizers and traders to carry out on-site checks.
