Please note

For general building encumbrances (access roads, clearance areas, etc.), please contact the building inspection departments of the districts. If the construction burden for the sewage disposal coincides with a construction burden for the access road, the construction inspection departments of the districts are also responsible. If a concentrated building permit procedure (according to § 62 Hamburg Building Code) is carried out for your building project, the registration of the building encumbrance will be initiated in the ongoing building permit procedure.

Processing time

The processing time is approx. 4 weeks after receipt of the complete documents. In complex cases, the processing can be significantly longer.

Fees

The fees for registering a building encumbrance depend on the effort involved and are usually between EUR 300 and EUR 1000 (according to the building fee regulations).

Legal remedies

An objection can be raised against a notification within one month of notification.

If the waste water development of a property is only possible via another property, the development must be secured with a building encumbrance.
