Detailed description
Building layout is the transfer of the planning of a construction project to a property in terms of location and height.
Based on the building permit, which is submitted by you as the person commissioning the construction or by the architect, calculations are carried out to determine the location of the building.
As a rough outline, the dimensions for preparatory measures are transferred to the site.
During the final layout, the measurements are transferred to the excavation pit before construction begins.
This involves transferring the building corners to string blocks/string frames erected on-site or by the LGV (Landesbetrieb für Bauwesen und Landschaftspflege – State Agency for Construction and Land Management).
For safety reasons, construction axes outside the construction area are also marked out.
