Detailed description

The expert committee for property values has the legal mandate to maintain a collection of purchase prices within its area of responsibility.


The purchase price database contains structured, evaluated information about contracts for the purchase and exchange of real estate, land, parts of land and rights to land.


The contracts are submitted to the valuation committee by the certifying bodies (usually notaries). Additional information is also requested from the contracting parties.


Information from the purchase price database is not intended for public access and is only available in cases of legitimate interest.


Experts can use comparable prices from the purchase price database to determine value, especially in the comparative value method.

Prerequisites

  • Upon request, you will receive information from the purchase price collection if you can prove a legitimate interest in this.
  • The legitimate interest is to be assumed when an application is submitted by authorities or experts for real estate valuation.
  • They only use the data for the stated purpose.
  • They do not pass the data on to third parties.

Documents required

  • No proof of legitimate interest required for aggregated data sets.
  • Proof of legitimate interest only in the case of comprehensive information.

Please note

The passing on of information to third parties is only permitted if there is no direct identification of the information as being related to the property in question.

Deadlines

An objection to the refusal to provide information must be made within one month.

Procedure

You can request information from the purchase price database in writing from the office of the expert committee at the State Agency for Geoinformation and Surveying (LGV). The request can be made either directly by mail or email, or alternatively via the online form for the LGV (HH) expert committee.

  • Provided you can demonstrate a legitimate interest, you will receive the information in full form without personal data.
  • The results of the evaluation will be sent to you by post or as a PDF/Excel file in an email.
  • You will receive the payment request in the form of a fee notice.

Under certain conditions, in addition to requesting information from the office, you can also obtain information yourself via the online service "Automated Information from the Purchase Price Collection (AAK)." To do so, you must meet certain professional requirements and first obtain authorization for the online service using the form "Application for Admission to the Automated Information from the Purchase Price Collection (AAK)."

The processing time depends on the scope and complexity of the information.

The basis is the fee schedule for official surveying and the appraisal committee for property values in Hamburg (GebOVerm) in the currently valid version
