Apply for recognition of training courses for expertise in accordance with the Chemicals Ozone Layer Ordinance

Detailed description

Certain work involving substances that damage the ozone layer may only be carried out by qualified personnel. These individuals must demonstrate their expertise, for example, by attending training courses. If you wish to offer and conduct such training courses, you will need accreditation from the relevant authority.

 

Information

Prerequisites

Your accredited training event imparts the knowledge required for the respective area of responsibility, such as...

  • Plant engineering,
  • the relevant regulations, guidelines and generally accepted rules of technology
  • the essential properties of the substances and preparations/mixtures in question and the hazards associated with their use.

Documents required

  • Curriculum for the training event
  • List of required measuring instruments and equipment for the practical teaching of skills and knowledge
  • Sample proof of participation in the training event
  • List of teachers with details of their qualifications

Further documents may be required. The responsible authority will inform you accordingly.

You may only offer your training event once you have been granted accreditation.

Procedure

  • You submit your application, along with any necessary supporting documents, to the relevant authority.
  • The responsible authority will review your application and may request missing documents or information from you.
  • The responsible authority will inform you of the decision regarding recognition in writing.
